Ryoko Kui and Dungeon Food
2025/12/08
Do you like adventure stories? While I no longer read fantasy novels or manga, I was obsessed with them in middle and high school.
An event is being held that will likely be enjoyable for fantasy lovers like me. The “Ryoko Kui Exhibition & ‘Dungeon Food’ Labyrinth Exploration Exhibition,” showcasing the world of manga artist Ryoko Kui’s work, opened on December 3rd in the 7th floor hall of the Daimaru Sapporo store. [Note 1]
The Ryoko Kui Exhibition will feature over 150 pieces, including reproductions of original drawings, manuscripts, and rough illustration panels, focusing on the broadcast start of her signature work, “Dungeon Food.” The “Dungeon Food” Labyrinth Exploration Exhibition will also feature a face-out panel of a frog suit, a life-size red dragon, some food samples, and exclusive voice recordings. As you’d expect from an exhibition of a hit fantasy manga, the exhibits are quite diverse.

Additionally, merchandise such as acrylic dioramas, tin badges, eco bags, glasses, paper knives, posters, stickers, commemorative reproductions of manuscripts, and sweets will be available for sale at the venue.
This promises to be a fun event where you can fully immerse yourself in the extraordinary world depicted in “Dungeon Food.”
